Os
cariocas

Group formed by two Brothers, Severino Filho and Ismael Netto, Os Cariocas to this day are the largest representatives of one of the most heard musical styles in the world, BOSSA NOVA, as well as the most prized and respected vocal ensemble, having followers in several countries mainly In the USA, where some vocal ensembles have been known to follow in their footsteps using the bold vocal arrangements of Os Cariocas as a reference for their own arrangements.

It was, in the history of universal music, the first vocal group to introduce a falsetto voice and thus, to open the way for vocalizations never tried before 1946.
